a different Cinderella's story

Once upon a time, a girl wanted to be a doctor but she couldn't because she didn't finish her studies.

She was a very shy person and she never tried to follow her dreams.

One day she met the Mayor's son and she got a letter. Her dreams came true because of him.

  Cinderella is a very rich girl and she is eighteen years old, she lives in a castle with her mother and brothers. Her father lives in the city, she goes to college at Hardvard. She is studying medicine and her brother is studying  psychology. 

Her mother's name is Andrea, she is fifty years old, she never works.

Her brothers' names are Brian and Scott.

Brian is twelve years old and he is in elementary school, and Scott is nineteen years old. 

Her family is very close and they always go for a walk.

Cinderella (Folco and Vittorio)

     Once upon a time there was an ugly girl called Cinderella. She had  two sisters.

 Her sisters played hockey very well and she really liked sports, so one day she started playing hockey in GER. While she was practising her sisters always told her she was a bad player but she didn't care about that.

She always knew she was bad at playing hockey but she always tried to be better. One day, she was able to become one of the most important players in the country and her sisters could never be good players.

Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco (Elías and Karim)

We went to San Fracisco, we were sightseeing to Golden Gate Bridge it was amazing. We could see the sea. After that, we visited Alcatraz fortress and military prison, built to defend San Francisco Bay. We looked at the Transamerica Tower, the tallest skyscraper in San Francisco. When we went in, we had a surprise for the fog! We liked San Francisco a lot and would like go there again. 

A weekend in San Francisco (Valentín)

Last weekend I stayed in San Francisco, I visited the most important sites in the city.

First, I went to see an important bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge. The bridge is red or orange and it’s one of the longest suspended bridges in the world. In the morning, I went to Pier 39 and took a boat here to Alcatraz prison.

At night, I went to the center of the city. There I visited the Transamerica Tower and ate there. There are a lot of beautiful restaurants.

The next day, I went to the Coit tower and saw all the city and the suburbs of San Francisco. In the morning I took the car and went to the Golden State Warriors Stadium. The stadium is in Oakland (it’s near San Francisco). To get there I took the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge. Then I went to know the City Hall (it’s similar to the Capitol in Washington) and the Palace of Fine Arts.

At night, I ate at McDonald’s and came back to the hotel and packed. That night I took a flight to Argentina.

Trip to New York (Brisa and Nahuel)

We went to the United States and  we visited the Statue of Liberty. It is a magnificent symbol of freedom. Also, we visited the new Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Finally we visited the Empire State Building. It has an  observatory where you can see for nearly 200 miles around the city. It is the one of world's tallest buildings. 

It was a wonderful experience. We learned many things about the culture of the United States. 

Our trip to New York (Camila, Martina)

When we traveled to New York, we did and saw a lot of things.
We arrived in Grand Central Terminal, we learned some things about this place, like it's very old and it has a busy commuter hub, bursting with shops, restaurants, and cocktail lounges.
The first day we went to The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), we saw some paintings, drawings, sculptures and architectural models. In the afternoon we went to the Central Park for a walk and we met some nice people. 
The last day, we saw a baseball game in the Yankee Stadium. It was amazing!!
At night we took the Staten Island Ferry to watch the Statue of Liberty and we took a lot of photos there.
It was the most beautiful and the best trip ever!! We love New York.
